There is no inconsistency.<br /><br />Mr. Yancey is simply playing semantic games with the word "life". Perhaps, this will help. When pro-lifers say they're "pro-life", they're saying that they're "pro-right-to-life". It's merely a short hand. Just consider that numerous pro-life groups are actually called something like "[State Name] Right to Life".<br /><br />What does it mean to be pro-right-to-life? It means that you believe that each innocent human being has a right not to be intentionally unjustly killed. Mr. Yancy, please read that sentence again.
